Ready to launch your career in finance? We're looking for motivated individuals to join our dynamic team at MBDA! 🚀
What You'll Be Doing:
You'll dive into the world of accountancy with a fully funded Level 3 Assistant Accountant qualification (18 months), earning an AAT Diploma. 📚 Then, you'll level up with a Level 4 Diploma in Professional Accounting, becoming a Professional Accounting Technician. 📈 You'll gain hands-on experience with placements in at least two different Finance functions, spending 2-3 days a week onsite to complement your virtual learning. 💻 The final 12 months will see you working full-time, putting your new skills into practice and becoming a vital part of our finance vision. ✨
Potential placements include:
- Accounting and Planning: Crafting financial plans and reports. 📊
- Programmes Finance: Partnering with teams to deliver contracts. 🤝
- Cost Control: Managing budgets and ensuring financial efficiency. 💰
- Treasury: Handling cash and foreign currency. 🏦
- Bids and Contract Evaluation: Building winning financial proposals. 🏆
What You'll Need:
- A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4, including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science or Technology subject. 🧠
- A solid grasp of Microsoft applications. 💻
- To be a British Citizen or a Dual UK national with British citizenship. 🇬🇧
- Important: You'll need to be able to travel to our MBDA site as required, so ensure your home or rental location is suitable and travel arrangements are manageable. ✈️
- Note: All successful candidates will undergo HMG Basic Personnel Security Standard checks (BPSS).
