What you'll be doing:

• Ensuring medicines and pharmaceutical products are supplied safely and accurately 💊
• Providing friendly and helpful advice to patients on their medications 🗣️
• Keeping our pharmacy running smoothly, from stock control to daily operations 📦
• Growing into a leadership role, supporting and mentoring new team members 🌱
• Helping to train and guide colleagues as you develop 🤝
• Maintaining top-notch service through quality checks and feedback 💯

Your Apprenticeship Journey:

• You'll be working towards a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship – that’s like getting your A-levels! 📚
• Upon successful completion, you’ll be qualified to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). 🏅
• Our training combines hands-on experience with flexible learning, so you can earn and learn effectively. 🧑‍💻

What we're looking for:

• You’ve already achieved a Level 2 qualification OR have previous pharmacy experience. 💯
• You’ve got a sharp eye for detail and are super committed to patient safety. 👀
• Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must! 🌟
• You thrive in a busy environment and love being part of a team. 🏃‍♀️
• You're ready to fully commit to the apprenticeship and working hours. 💪
• Located within 30 minutes of our Dukinfield pharmacy. 📍
• Ideally, you have your own car and can highlight this on your CV. 🚗

Rate: £10.50 per hour 💰

Key responsibilities

• Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
• Providing person‑centred advice to patients on prescription and over‑the‑counter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
• Supporting the day‑to‑day running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
• Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
• Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
