This isn't just a job; it's your chance to gain hands-on experience and snag qualifications to become a fully-fledged practitioner in our state-of-the-art CIU department. 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

We'll train you up to master non-invasive skills, so you can eventually rock them solo! 💪 Plus, you'll dive into super specialised cardiac investigations like interventional cardiology and pacemaker implants. 💖

Important Note: As part of this amazing apprenticeship, you'll need to head to Sheffield for some of your training. 🚄

Who we're looking for:

• Enthusiastic, reliable, and super motivated individuals ready to be part of a forward-thinking team! ✨
• Candidates awaiting A-level results, with a minimum of five GCSEs (including Maths & English – certificates needed! 💯), and 120 UCAS Tariff points at A2 (check the person specification for the deets!).
• While a Level 3 qualification is a bonus, we're also keen to hear from graduates with science-related degrees. 🧪
• UK residents for the last 3 years, not currently in government-funded education. 🇬🇧

What you'll do:

• Work closely with our expert team to gain vital experience. 🤝
• Develop and perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic skills. 🩺
• Learn and assist with specialised procedures like interventional cardiology and pacemaker management. 💡
• Undertake a Level 6 Apprenticeship in Healthcare Science. 📚

Entry requirements

Essential qualifications (Essential 5 GCSEs grade C (4) and above including Maths and English 120 Tariff points at A2 including grade C Biology, Human Biology or applied science or Level 3 BTEC DDM including 60 credits from a science subject (applications with results pending accepted) Desirable Degree (BSc Hons) in a Biology or Sports science related subject (applications with results pending accepted))
