About the role

Job Title: Creative Design & Operations Assistant (Wine & Spirits) ๐Ÿทโœจ

Are you a design whiz with an eye for detail and a knack for organization? We're looking for a motivated and creative individual to join our dynamic team and make a real impact! This role offers a fantastic opportunity to blend your design skills with hands-on operational tasks, all within the exciting world of wine and spirits. ๐Ÿฅ‚

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Designing Awesome Labels & Wine Lists: ๐ŸŽจ You'll be the creative force behind our bespoke wine labels and wine lists for clients. Using industry-standard software like Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, or Photoshop, you'll transform customer briefs, branding, and logos into stunning visual assets. You'll be responsible for creating proofs, getting approvals, and ensuring all essential information (like alcohol strength, volume, allergens, and producer details) is accurately displayed, adhering to all relevant regulations. Don't worry, we'll provide training on the specifics! We also strictly adhere to copyright laws, so you'll only use approved artwork. ๐Ÿ”’ You'll also maintain organized records of all approved designs.
  • Warehouse Magic & Relabelling: ๐Ÿ“ฆ (Approx. 30% of your time) Get ready to get hands-on! You'll manage stock coming in and out of the warehouse for relabelling. This involves carefully decanting cases, applying those amazing bespoke labels to individual bottles, and repacking them for sale or distribution. Quality control is key here โ€“ you'll double-check every label before it goes out! We prioritize safety, so you'll receive training on manual handling and follow all warehouse procedures. Keeping the relabelling area spotless and hazard-free is a must. ๐Ÿงผ
  • Team Collaboration Powerhouse: ๐Ÿค You'll be the bridge between our creative output and our client's needs. Liaise with the sales team to understand customer requirements and deadlines, and work closely with our logistics experts to track stock movements accurately. Keeping everyone in the loop on job progress and flagging any potential issues promptly is super important. ๐Ÿ“ฃ
  • Sales Administration Ace: ๐Ÿ“ž Need to handle calls like a pro? This is for you! You'll answer incoming calls, take messages, and direct queries. You'll also be a vital support in taking and processing customer orders accurately, and getting parcels ready for shipping โ€“ think packing, labelling, and all the necessary paperwork. Your handling of customer and company data will be in line with UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018. Plus, you'll assist the sales team with other administrative tasks as needed. ๐Ÿ“

What We're Looking For:

  • A keen interest in design and a strong creative flair.
  • Proficiency or eagerness to learn design software (Adobe Creative Suite is a plus!).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive and organized approach to work.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Understanding of, or willingness to learn, relevant regulations (e.g., Food Information Regulations, Copyright Act, GDPR).

If you're ready to dive into a role that's both creative and practical, and you're passionate about delivering quality, we want to hear from you! Apply today and let's create something amazing together. ๐ŸŽ‰
