What you'll be doing:

• 🌟 Helping us build a warm, welcoming, and exciting space where children can develop their emotional, social, and educational skills.
• 🧼 Under guidance, you'll be involved in all aspects of childcare, including assisting with routines like washing, changing, and feeding.
• 👩‍🏫 Being a go-to person (key worker) for a small group of children, keeping track of their progress and planning exciting activities for them.
• ❤️ Supporting children with their individual personal and emotional needs.
• 🛡️ Championing the safety and well-being of all children – their welfare is our top priority!
• ✅ Making sure you understand and follow all our nursery policies and procedures.
• ⏰ Completing your apprenticeship work on time, as guided by your Showcase Tutor.

Key responsibilities

• Create a warm, friendly and stimulating atmosphere for children.
• Provide all aspects of care for children, including washing, changing and feeding.
• Act as a key worker to a small group of children, recording observations and planning.
• Safeguard and promote the welfare of children.
• Adhere to the nursery's policies and procedures.
