This is your chance to become a Clinical Trials Specialist through our Degree Apprenticeship! You'll be studying with the University of Kent 🎓 while working with our Clinical Research team, gaining practical skills across 14 different specialisms. Your studies will cover essential topics like basic biology, clinical trial regulations, health economics, and project management, leading to a BSc (Hons) Applied Science (Clinical Trials Specialist) upon completion. 🔬
You'll play a crucial role in supporting our research activities, handling a wide range of administrative tasks and interacting with a variety of professionals – from doctors and nurses to data managers and fellow administrators. You'll be based at our Chelsea or Sutton sites, combining real-world experience with dedicated study time to boost your professional development and career in clinical research and the NHS. 🏥
We're looking for someone who is open-minded, positive, and can take initiative while following instructions with precision. A flexible approach, strong teamwork, and a willingness to contribute to a supportive research atmosphere are key. Be prepared to fully commit to your apprenticeship and learning! 💪
Apprenticeship Eligibility:
- Aged 18 or over.
- Lived in the UK or EEA for the last three years.
- Legal right to work and live in the UK for the apprenticeship duration. (Visa must permit work and apprenticeship, not solely study).
- Must not hold a qualification at the same level or higher in the same subject.
- Committed to completing the required learning.
- Available to start early December 2026.
- Available to attend the University of Kent early January 2027.
- GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C) plus one relevant L3 qualification (details in JD).

- Location: Office-based at our Sutton or Chelsea site. Remote working is not available. 🏠

Key responsibilities
- Perform administrative tasks to support research activity

- Follow instructions carefully and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (Essential GCSE passes (or equivalent), in English Language and Mathematics at Grade 4 or above. They are also required to have achieved at one A Level (or equivalent), in Biology. Alternatively, applicants must have completed a Level 3 Laboratory Technical Apprenticeship in a relevant science discipline.)
