About the role

Lashan Digital: Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice ๐Ÿš€

Ready to kickstart your marketing career with a bang? Lashan Digital is on the hunt for a driven and creative Multi-Channel Marketer Apprentice! ๐ŸŽ‰ You'll be a key player in connecting with leaders in housing, social care, and retail across the digital universe โ€“ think web, LinkedIn, email, events, and search. ๐ŸŒโœ‰๏ธ

Much of what we do is pretty techy. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to transform complex information into super-clear, engaging content and visuals that busy professionals can digest in a flash. We're talking awesome case studies, handy one-page explainers, clear diagrams, and snappy social posts. ๐Ÿ’กโœ๏ธ

Forget years of marketing experience โ€“ a killer command of written English and a sharp eye for design are your superpowers here. โœจ You'll be working shoulder-to-shoulder with our founder, sales lead, and the brilliant product and delivery teams.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Writing & Editing: Crafting and polishing content for our website, LinkedIn, newsletters, case studies, bids, and event materials. You'll be the wizard who turns technical jargon from our architects and engineers into plain English that everyone can understand. Plus, you'll proofread like a pro to keep our LASHAN brand's spelling, grammar, and tone on point. โœ…๐Ÿ“
  • Visual Content Creation: Turning words into eye-catching infographics, diagrams, one-page summaries, slick slide decks, and short, digestible videos. You'll ensure our visual style is consistent across all channels, rocking brand templates and design tools like Canva. You'll also manage a treasure trove of reusable assets โ€“ images, icons, templates, you name it! ๐ŸŽจ๐Ÿ–ผ๏ธ
  • Channels & Campaigns: Helping to plan and execute our content calendar across web, LinkedIn, email, and events. You'll support exciting campaigns from start to finish, including product launches, bids, and thought leadership initiatives. You'll also keep our website fresh through our content management system and dabble in basic SEO. Plus, you'll help out with event invites, materials, and follow-ups. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ๐Ÿš€
  • Research & Measurement: Diving deep into our sectors, competitors, and audiences to inform our content strategy. You'll track campaign performance using tools like Google Analytics and LinkedIn analytics, reporting on what's working and suggesting smart improvements. ๐Ÿ“Š๐Ÿ”

Your Skills & Superpowers:

  • English Ace: Impeccable written English โ€“ clear, accurate, and well-structured, with spot-on spelling and grammar. ๐Ÿ†
  • Simplifier Extraordinaire: The knack for explaining complex or technical ideas in a way that's easy to grasp. ๐Ÿง
  • Design Savvy: A creative eye for layout and design, with the ability to transform text into visually appealing content. ๐Ÿ‘€
  • Tool Master: Confidence using design tools like Canva, PowerPoint, or similar. ๐Ÿ’ป
  • Social Media Guru: Active presence on social media, especially LinkedIn, with a good understanding of how content performs. ๐Ÿ“ฒ
  • Organized Whiz: Super organized, able to juggle multiple tasks and hit deadlines. โฑ๏ธ
  • Eager Learner: Ready to ask questions, soak up feedback, and learn at lightning speed! โšก

Bonus Points (Desirable Experience):

  • A portfolio showcasing your writing or design work (from studies, personal projects, or a previous gig). ๐Ÿ“‚
  • Experience with website content management systems (like WordPress). ๐ŸŒ
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, email marketing tools, or Google Analytics. ๐Ÿ“ˆ
  • Experience creating short videos or animations. ๐ŸŽฌ
  • A passion for technology, data, AI, and public services like housing and social care. ๐Ÿค“

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • You must not have an existing qualification at the same or a higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.

The Perks:

  • Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week. โฐ
  • Benefits: Access to a pension scheme and an employee marketplace for awesome discounts on retail, well-being, and more! ๐ŸŽ
  • Future Prospects: A massive 90% of QA apprentices secure permanent roles after completion โ€“ that's 20% higher than the national average! ๐ŸŒŸ
