Are you ready to kickstart your career in a dynamic healthcare setting? Whitefriars Surgery is looking for a super friendly and organised individual to join our awesome team. This isn't just a job; it's your chance to gain a recognised qualification while making a real difference! ✨

As our first point of contact, you'll be the welcoming face and voice for our patients and healthcare professionals. You'll embody our CARES values: Compassion, Agility, Respect, Excellence, and Service. 💖🏃‍♀️🤝🏆🌟

What you'll be doing:

  • Being the go-to person for patients and colleagues via phone, email, and in person – making sure everyone feels heard and helped. 🗣️
  • Mastering our appointment system and keeping it running smoothly. 🗓️
  • Triaging patient queries, like a super sleuth, to connect them with the right support. 🕵️‍♀️
  • Becoming a pro with our clinical systems (think EMIS/SystmOne/Vision) and keeping patient records tip-top. 💻
  • Getting hands-on with DOCMAN to manage incoming clinical information. 📬
  • Inputting and coding patient data accurately – precision is key! 🔢
  • Handling referrals to other services and assisting with various practice tasks. 🚀
  • Managing all sorts of correspondence, from post to emails. ✉️
  • Helping new patients get registered and keeping details up-to-date. 📝
  • Processing important system requests like SARs, insurance forms, and DVLA documents. 📄
  • Teaming up with the rest of the crew to keep the practice humming. 🎶

What we're looking for:

  • A genuinely friendly, professional, and approachable vibe. 😊
  • Amazing communication and people skills – you'll be talking to lots of different people! 💬
  • Super organised with an eye for detail. 👀
  • Someone who can boss it independently but also shines as part of a team. 🌟
  • Resilient and adaptable – ready to roll with the punches in a busy environment. 💪

Working Hours: Monday to Friday, shifts to cover 8am – 6pm. ⏰

Benefits: We're all about work-life balance, so expect a flexible approach to help you manage your time. 🧘‍♀️

Future Prospects: Get this – 90% of our apprentices land permanent jobs after finishing! That's a HUGE 20% higher than the national average. 🚀 Your career journey starts here!

Your Learning Journey: This isn't just a job; it's a fully supported vocational apprenticeship. You'll have your very own QA skills coach and a mentor at work guiding you every step of the way. They'll help you settle in, develop all the skills you need, and smash your assessments. You'll gain a nationally recognised qualification at SCQF Level 6, plus invaluable work experience. 🎓
