  • Citizenship & Age: Must be a British National and aged 18 or over by 31 August 2027. 🇬🇧
  • Security Savvy: You'll need to be willing and able to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role. 🕵️‍♀️
  • Health & Safety Mindset: This role can be physically demanding and may require a medical assessment. You'll need to be suitable for things like respiratory protection. 🫁

Why Being Onsite is a Game-Changer:

This is an onsite apprenticeship, meaning you'll be right in the heart of the action. You'll get an in-depth understanding of our operational areas, learn about crucial safe systems of work, and master the detailed processes that ensure everything is completed safely and accurately. 💯

Skills We're Looking For:

  • Hands-On Hero: You love practical work and enjoy figuring out how things are done, step-by-step. 💪
  • Detail Devotee: You can follow instructions precisely and understand why every detail matters. ✨
  • Safety First Champion: You're aware of and committed to health, safety, and responsibility – it's at the core of what we do. ✅
  • Team Player: You communicate effectively, aren't afraid to ask questions, and enjoy working collaboratively with others. 🤝

Where This Journey Could Lead:

Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you'll be ready to join one of AWE's operational business units. 🚀 You might also find opportunities in exciting areas like logistics, science, or engineering.

The Application Process:

1. Online Application: Submit your one apprenticeship application before the deadline. 💻

2. Online Testing: If you meet the initial requirements, you'll take online assessments (numerical, verbal, logical, and cognitive reasoning). Practice materials will be provided! 🧠

3. Assessment Centre: If you shine in the online tests, you'll be invited to an in-person assessment centre. 🌟

4. Offer, Medical & Clearance: Successful candidates will then move through the offer, medical, and security clearance stages before joining us on 1 September 2027.
