You'll get hands-on experience with everything from building inspections and emergency drills to handling work requests and supporting the teams who rely on a top-notch working environment. What’s on the table?

• Entry Requirements: You’ll need 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or higher, including Maths and English. 📚
• Eligibility: Must be a British National and 18+ by 31 August 2027. 🇬🇧
• Security Clearance: You'll need to be able to get and keep the necessary security clearance. 🕵️‍♀️
• Working Hours: This is an onsite apprenticeship at AWE Aldermaston and/or Burghfield, with every other Friday off. 🗓️
• Key Dates:
• Applications Close: 22 November 2026 ⏳
• Assessment Centres: 14 & 21 January 2027 🗓️
• Start Date: 1 September 2027 🎉

Once you’ve crushed this apprenticeship, you could step into a full-blown Facilities Management role! You'll be using your newfound skills to keep AWE’s buildings in top shape, support the people who work in them, and even bring in new ideas to make AWE even better. 🚀💡

What happens after you apply:

1. Online Application: Submit your one apprenticeship application before the deadline. 📝

2. Online Testing: If you meet the criteria, you'll tackle numerical, verbal, logical, and cognitive reasoning tests. Practice materials will be provided. 🧠

3. Assessment Centre: Top candidates get invited to an in-person assessment centre, happening on 14 & 21 January 2027. 📍

4. Offer, Medical & Clearance: If you impress, you'll move to the offer stage, complete a medical, and get your security clearance sorted before starting on 1 September 2027. ✅
