Join Our Team as a School Administrator! ๐Ÿš€

Are you a whiz with tech and love keeping things organised? We're looking for a dynamic individual to join our school and help us run smoothly! This is your chance to make a real impact and be part of a supportive community.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Facilities Fanatic ๐Ÿซ: Be the go-to person for all things related to school facilities โ€“ think school meals, transport (yes, even our minibuses and drivers!), booking spaces for lessons and fun after-school clubs like music and sports.
  • Meeting Maestro ๐Ÿค: Take notes at important meetings (school committees, staff get-togethers) and help organise them by typing up agendas, collating papers, and booking rooms.
  • Data Detective ๐Ÿ“Š: Keep our student registers and reports in check, managing school data and other essential info needed by Oldham Council and the Department for Education.
  • Premises Partner ๐Ÿก: Assist with the routine administration of school lettings and other uses of our school grounds.
  • Community Connector ๐Ÿ“ฃ: Help us spread the word about our amazing school to different people and boost our presence in the local area. You'll also connect with local businesses for fundraising and cool joint projects.
  • Supply Chain Supervisor ๐Ÿ“ž: Under the guidance of our Executive Headteacher, you'll organise cover for teachers when they're away.

Finance & Resource Rockstar:

  • Budget Buddy ๐Ÿ’ฐ: Get involved in basic bookkeeping tasks like managing school funds, petty cash, school trips, and photo orders. You'll be responsible for accurately recording and balancing these amounts.
  • Statement Specialist ๐Ÿงพ: Prepare financial statements for different budget holders.
  • Stationery Savvy โœ๏ธ: Keep our stationery and supplies stocked up across the whole school, organising and distributing them as needed.

Reception & Customer Service Star: โญ

  • Front Desk Hero ๐Ÿ‘‹: Greet visitors with a smile, answer phone calls and in-person questions, and take messages.
  • Welcoming Wizard ๐Ÿง™: Make sure everyone who visits feels welcome and safe, following our health and safety and safeguarding procedures (think sign-in/out, issuing badges, and escorting visitors).
  • Query Quencher ๐Ÿ—ฃ๏ธ: Be the first point of contact for questions from staff, pupils, and parents.
  • Visitor Arranger ๐Ÿ“…: Help organise visits for people like the school nurse, photographers, and parents.

General Clerical Champ: ๐Ÿ†

  • Admin Assistant Extraordinaire โœจ: Provide all-around clerical support โ€“ photocopying, filing, faxing, emailing, filling out forms, and answering common questions.
  • Mail Master โœ‰๏ธ: Sort and distribute mail within the school.

Welfare Warrior: ๐Ÿ’–

  • First Aid Liaison ๐Ÿฉน: Communicate with parents and staff regarding any first aid incidents, following school procedures.
