What You'll Be Doing:
As a Manufacturing Apprentice, you'll start by mastering the craft of Manual and CNC Machine Operation. Your training will cover:
- Manual Machining: Get hands-on with Bridgeport manual mills and manual lathes. 🛠️
- CNC Machining: Learn to operate 3-axis milling machines and semi-CNC lathes (once you've got your turning skills down!). ⚙️
- Programming: Gain foundational knowledge in basic shop floor CNC programming. 💻
- Ancillary Operations: Master laser part marking, billet stamping, and loading/unloading automated machine systems. ✨

Key responsibilities
- Operating manual and CNC machinery, including lathes and milling machines
- Performing basic shop floor CNC programming
- Carrying out laser part marking
- Executing billet stamping
- Loading and unloading automated machine loading systems
Entry requirements
GCSE in: (English (grade 4), Maths (grade 4))
