Our Product Governance team dives deep into products from launch to their evolution or withdrawal, ensuring they nail customer needs and deliver fair value. 💡 This is a strategic gig where you’ll see the big picture, use data to understand product performance, and suggest improvements. You’ll leverage insights from claims, customer feedback, and complaints to spot risks and identify opportunities. Plus, you’ll learn how Howden crushes Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) requirements and ensures amazing customer outcomes. 💯 Join Howden on a permanent role and complete an 18-month development program designed to boost your technical know-how, professional skills, and confidence. 🌟
What you'll be doing:
You’ll kick off with a structured induction before joining our Product Governance squad, working with seasoned pros and gradually taking on more. 🤝 During the program:
- Level up your knowledge of insurance products and the rules Howden follows. 📚
- Understand how insurance products move through their entire journey: design, launch, review, improvement, or withdrawal. 🔄
- Support regular reviews to check products hit the mark for their intended customers and offer fair value. ✅
- Dive into data like claims, customer surveys, satisfaction scores, and complaints. 📊
- Compare product performance and customer outcomes against regulatory expectations. 📈
- Collaborate and get exposure to teams across broking, claims, insurers, risk, compliance, and more. 🌐
Who we're looking for:
Zero insurance experience needed – we've got your back! We'll teach you everything. 🙌 You'll be:
- Curious, eager to ask questions, and keen to understand how insurance products work and impact customers. 🤔
- Comfortable with numbers, data, and spreadsheets (we’ll train you up in Excel!). 💻
- Analytical and logical, with a knack for spotting patterns in different info sources. 🧠
- Confident building connections and working with diverse teams. 🗣️
- Organized and able to juggle tasks while following clear steps. 📝
- Adaptable and ready to pivot when priorities shift. 🤸
- Resilient and thrive in a fast-paced environment. 🔥
To be eligible for this program, you must:
- Have the full and unrestricted right to work in the UK. 🇬🇧
- Have lived permanently in the UK for the last 3 years.
- Have achieved a grade C/4 in GCSE English and Maths.
- Not already hold a qualification that significantly overlaps with this program.
