Teaching Assistant Role 🧑‍🏫

Ready to make a real difference? We're looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to join our team at a secondary school, working full-time with students aged 11-16. You'll be a key player in supporting teachers and helping young people thrive academically and socially, both in and out of the classroom. 🚀

What you'll be doing:

• Providing dedicated support to pupils in developing their numeracy ➕, literacy 📚, and ICT 💻 skills.
• Assisting with the creation of engaging classroom displays and preparing essential learning resources. 🎨
• Offering extra help to students who need it most, ensuring they can successfully complete their tasks. 💪
• Understanding and adhering to crucial safeguarding and behaviour policies, and knowing your vital role within them. 🛡️
• Collaborating closely with teachers, offering support across a range of classroom activities. 🤝
• Maintaining a professional and positive attitude at all times within the school environment. ✨

Key responsibilities

• Support pupils with their numeracy, literacy, and ICT skills
• Help children requiring additional support to complete tasks
• Support teachers in a variety of roles within the classroom
• Take part in creating displays and preparing resources
• Understand safeguarding and behaviour policies and your role within these policies

Entry requirements

Essential qualifications (Minimum A*-C GCSE (or equivalent) in English and Math’s)
