As a Modern Apprentice, you'll be working alongside experienced practitioners and learning directly from our manager. This is a full-time gig! 💯
Your daily grind will look a little like this:

- Delivering engaging learning activities based on the Curriculum for Excellence. 🍎
- Keeping our little ones safe and sound, always! ✅
- Helping out with snacks, lunches, and dinners. 🍓
- Embracing the great outdoors, rain or shine! 🌳🌧️
This Modern Apprenticeship is an epic 12-month journey, leading to an SVQ 3 in Social Services: Children and Young People. Once you've crushed it, you'll be a fully qualified Childcare Practitioner! You'll be employed by us, and l&g Learning will be your hype crew, supporting you every step of the way. 🙌
Key responsibilities

- Implement planned learning experiences in line with the Curriculum for Excellence
- Keep children safe and well at all times
- Assist with snack, lunches and dinners
- Play outdoors in all weather!
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement. You should demonstrate a desire to work within the Childcare sector and have some form of relatable experience. Ideally you will have one National 5 qualification including English. However, we understand that not everyone will have achieved this level of qualification and will take this into consideration. Anyone who has completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in Childcare will get direct access to the interview stage.)
