As a Modern Apprentice, you'll be mentored by experienced practitioners and work closely with our manager, diving into a full-time role that's anything but ordinary.
Your Day-to-Day Adventure Will Include:
- Setting up vibrant play spaces for epic learning fun! 🎨
- Bringing exciting learning activities to life, aligned with the Curriculum for Excellence. 📚
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of every child, always. ❤️
- Helping out with delicious snacks, lunches, and dinners. 🍎
- Embracing the outdoors, whatever the weather! 🌦️
This 12-month apprenticeship will lead to an SVQ 3 in Social Services Children and Young People. Once complete, you'll be a qualified Childcare Practitioner! You'll be employed directly by us, with l&g Learning providing all the support you need to smash your training. Let's grow together! 🌱

Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement. You should demonstrate a desire to work within the Childcare sector and have some form of relatable experience. Ideally you will have one National 5 qualification including English. However, we understand that not everyone will have achieved this level of qualification and will take this into consideration. Anyone who has completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in Childcare will get direct access to the interview stage.)
