As a Modern Apprentice, you'll be working alongside experienced practitioners, getting hands-on training and support from our manager. This is a full-time gig, so get ready to dive in! 🗓️
Your daily adventures will include:
- Setting the scene for a day packed with fun and learning! 🎨
- Helping deliver exciting learning activities aligned with the Curriculum for Excellence. 📚
- Keeping our little ones safe, happy, and healthy – always! 🥰
- Assisting with serving yummy snacks, lunches, and dinners. 🍎
- Embracing the great outdoors, whatever the weather! 🌧️☀️
This 12-month apprenticeship will see you earning your SVQ Level 3 in Social Services: Children and Young People. 🏆 You'll be employed directly by the nursery, and l&g Learning will be your ultimate guide through your training journey. Let's build a brighter future together! 🌟

Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement. You should demonstrate a desire to work within the Childcare sector and have some form of relatable experience. Ideally you will have one National 5 qualification including English. However, we understand that not everyone will have achieved this level of qualification and will take this into consideration. Anyone who has completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in Childcare will get direct access to the interview stage.)
