Working with kids is totally unique. You get to be a superhero in their lives, sparking their imagination 💡, nurturing their creativity 🎨, and teaching them skills that will last a lifetime. This Modern Apprenticeship will give you the tools and know-how to become a certified Childcare Practitioner! 🌟
You'll be working alongside our awesome senior practitioners, learning the ropes under the manager's guidance. This is a full-time gig! 🚀
Your typical day will be packed with:

- Bringing planned learning experiences to life, following the Curriculum for Excellence. 📚
- Keeping our little ones safe and sound, always! 🥰
- Helping out with snacks, lunches, and dinners. 🍎
- Embracing the outdoors, whatever the weather! ☀️🌧️
This 12-month Modern Apprenticeship is your fast track to an SVQ 3 Social Services Children and Young People qualification. It's all hands-on, work-based learning, and once you're done, you'll be a fully qualified Childcare Practitioner! 🎓 You'll be employed directly by the nursery, and l&g Learning will be there to support you every step of the way. 🙌

Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (You’ll have a head start in this vacancy if you’ve completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in a related field. We’ll need you to provide evidence of your qualification and show you gained the relevant skills from your placement. You should demonstrate a desire to work within the Childcare sector and have some form of relatable experience. Ideally you will have one National 5 qualification including English. However, we understand that not everyone will have achieved this level of qualification and will take this into consideration. Anyone who has completed a Foundation Apprenticeship in Childcare will get direct access to the interview stage.)
