The Deets:
- Hours: Full-time, 35โ40 hours per week. MondayโFriday in nurseries, or varied hours in Out of School Care settings. โฐ
- Pay: ยฃ8 per hour (National Minimum Wage for Modern Apprentices). ๐ฐ
Your Modern Apprentice Journey:
- Qualification Goals: Work towards an SCQF Level 7 qualification in partnership with Carousel Training Centre and your Employer.
- Support System: Attend monthly training classes and get regular guidance from your Assessor. ๐ค
- Skill Up: Earn your SVQ in Social Services (Children and Young People).
- Fast Track: Become a qualified Early Years Practitioner in just 12โ15 months! ๐จ
What You'll Be Doing:
- Team Player: Collaborate with the staff to create a safe, super positive environment for the little ones. ๐
- Activity Architect: Help deliver fun, active, and educational activities that kids will love. ๐
- Little Kid Wrangler: Get hands-on experience with children from babies all the way to pre-schoolers. ๐งธ
- Playtime Pro: Discover how children learn and develop through creative play. ๐จ
- Care Champion: Support with personal care tasks (like toileting, dressing, and feeding).
- Parent Partner: Connect with parents and carers to support each child's learning adventure. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Routine Rockstar: Assist with daily nursery routines, including snack prep and keeping things tidy. ๐
- Safety First: Follow all safeguarding procedures to ensure every child is safe and sound. โ

Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (What Weโre Looking For:- โข Enthusiastic and confident individuals who want to work in a Nursery or Out of School Care setting. โข Good communication skills and a genuine desire to support the development of young children. โข The ability to engage and interact enthusiastically with children.
