As a Parts Apprentice, you'll be diving headfirst into the daily operations of our busy parts department. You'll get real-world experience in managing stock, rocking customer service, and mastering logistics, all within a buzzing commercial workshop. Think of it as your training ground to become a parts pro! 💪
You won't be alone – you'll be working side-by-side with our seasoned team who are all about guiding and supporting you every step of the way. We've got your back! 🤝
What You'll Be Up To:
- Helping out with ordering, receiving, and storing all the vehicle parts we need. 📦
- Picking and handing over parts to our talented workshop technicians. 🛠️
- Keeping our stock records totally on point and accurate. ✅
- Chatting with internal and external customers – in person and on the phone! 👋
- Pitching in with general warehouse and parts department tasks. 🧹
- Learning the ins and outs of identifying commercial vehicle components. 🧐
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with ordering, receiving, and storing vehicle parts
- Picking and issuing parts to workshop technicians
- Helping maintain accurate stock records
- Dealing with internal and external customers
- Supporting general warehouse and parts department duties
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (• A strong interest in vehicles, mechanics, or the automotive industry • Willingness to learn and develop new skills • Good communication and teamwork abilities • Basic IT and numeracy skills • Reliability and a positive attitude • No prior experience required – full training provided)
