As a Parts Apprentice, you'll be the backbone of our parts department, getting real-world experience in stock management, crushing customer service, and mastering logistics in a buzzing commercial workshop. 🛠️
You'll be working side-by-side with seasoned pros who've got your back and are ready to guide you through your apprenticeship journey. 💪
What you'll be doing:
- Helping out with ordering, receiving, and stashing vehicle parts. 📦
- Grabbing and handing over parts to our workshop wizards. 🧑🔧
- Keeping our stock records sharp and on point. 💯
- Chatting with our amazing internal and external customers, both face-to-face and on the phone. 📞
- Pitching in with general warehouse and parts department tasks. 🧹
- Learning the ins and outs of identifying commercial vehicle parts. 🧐
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with ordering, receiving, and storing vehicle parts
- Picking and issuing parts to workshop technicians
- Helping maintain accurate stock records
- Dealing with internal and external customers in person and over the phone
- Supporting general warehouse and parts department duties
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (• A strong interest in vehicles, mechanics, or the automotive industry • Willingness to learn and develop new skills • Good communication and teamwork abilities • Basic IT and numeracy skills • Reliability and a positive attitude • No prior experience required – full training provided)
