As a Parts Apprentice, you'll be diving into the action, helping keep our parts department running smoothly. You'll gain awesome practical skills in managing inventory, looking after customers, and making sure everything is where it needs to be in our bustling workshop. 📦
You'll have the support of our experienced crew who'll be there to mentor and guide you every step of the way. 🤝
Your responsibilities will include:
• Helping out with ordering, receiving, and stocking vehicle parts. 🛒
• Picking and handing over parts to our awesome workshop technicians. 🛠️
• Keeping our stock records super accurate. 💯
• Chatting with customers (in person and on the phone) – both our own team and external clients. 👋
• Pitching in with general warehouse and parts department tasks. ✨
• Learning the ins and outs of identifying commercial vehicle components. 🚛
Key responsibilities
- Assisting with ordering, receiving, and storing vehicle parts
- Picking and issuing parts to workshop technicians
- Helping maintain accurate stock records
- Dealing with internal and external customers
- Supporting general warehouse and parts department duties
Entry requirements
Essential qualifications (• A strong interest in vehicles, mechanics, or the automotive industry • Willingness to learn and develop new skills • Good communication and teamwork abilities • Basic IT and numeracy skills • Reliability and a positive attitude • No prior experience required – full training provided)
