Survey Technician 🗺️

We're looking for a motivated Survey Technician to join our team! If you're ready to get hands-on with cutting-edge tech and play a key role in shaping our projects, this is the opportunity for you.

What you'll be doing:

• Get the site ready by marking out the areas we need to survey. 📍
• Secure the necessary permissions to access the land for surveying. 🤝
• Set up our survey control stations, connecting our work to the Ordnance Survey Active Network using GPS Receivers. 🛰️
• Conduct surveys using a range of advanced equipment including Total Stations, Echo Sounders, GPS Receivers, and Drones. 🚁
• Process all the survey data to produce 2D CAD drawings, 3D Models, and data ready for our Hydrographic Software. 💻
• Compile comprehensive survey reports. 📝

Key responsibilities

• Prepare for survey operations, including onsite mapping and obtaining land entry permissions.
• Establish survey control station to relate the survey to the Ordnance Survey Active Network using GPS Receivers.
• Survey the area using a combination of Total Stations, Echo Sounders, GPS Receivers and Drones.
• Process the survey data to create 2d CAD drawings, 3d Models and data for input into Hydrographic Software.
• Create a survey report.
