What you'll be doing:
- Helping to plan and run super fun, age-appropriate activities that kids will love! π¨
- Championing learning through play, following the EYFS framework. π
- Creating a safe, exciting, and inspiring space for little ones. β¨
- Keeping our learning environments spick and span, safe, and super welcoming. π‘
- Always sticking to safeguarding and health & safety rules β no exceptions! β
- Watching, learning, and celebrating children's progress through observations and assessments. π
- Chatting with senior staff and parents about the awesome things kids are doing. π£οΈ
- Encouraging good vibes, kindness, sharing, and respect amongst the children. π€
- Being a positive role model and guiding childrenβs behaviour like a pro. π
- Helping out with daily routines β think mealtimes, getting dressed, and nap times! ππ΄
- Working as part of a fantastic team and teaming up with parents to support each child's journey. π€
- Joining in staff meetings and training to boost your skills even further. π

Key responsibilities
- Assist in planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities promoting learning through play.
- Create and maintain a safe, stimulating, and clean learning environment, adhering to safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Observe and monitor children's progress, recording observations and contributing to assessments and development plans.
- Assist with and support children through daily routines, including mealtimes, toileting, dressing, and nap times.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents, maintaining professionalism and adhering to all nursery policies and procedures.
