What you'll be doing:
- Supporting students' personal, physical, social, emotional, and intellectual needs.
- Working with teachers to implement fun and effective learning strategies.
- Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers. π
- Assisting with student assessments, testing, and record-keeping. βοΈ
- Encouraging confidence, independence, and positive attitudes in students. πͺ
- Promoting inclusion and positive relationships with everyone. π€
- Providing support with personal care needs, always with dignity and respect. π
- Supervising students during lessons, breaks, and other times, ensuring their safety. π‘οΈ
- Responding to student behaviour and applying agreed strategies.
- Helping to create a safe, stimulating, and purposeful learning environment. π‘
- Communicating important information to teachers, parents, and other professionals. π£οΈ
- Administering first aid when needed. π©Ή
- Promoting and safeguarding student welfare according to school policies. β
- Complying with all relevant legislation and school policies.
- Participating in educational visits and out-of-school activities. ππ
- Providing administrative and organisational support. π

Key responsibilities
- Support studentsβ learning, development, wellbeing, and safety
