What You'll Be Doing:
- Teaming up to plan, track, and assess activities for little ones aged 0-5. π§Έ
- Taking responsibility for the care and education of children in your room, as part of our key person approach. π
- Helping to create a stimulating and fitting environment β think layout, resources, displays, and making sure everyoneβs included. π
- Assisting with daily, weekly, and monthly nursery checks. β
- Prioritizing the safety and well-being of every child in your care. β€οΈ
- Working in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Statutory Framework. π
- Supporting qualified staff with day-to-day nursery routines. πββοΈ
- Learning the ropes of being a nursery nurse through practical experience with the team. π οΈ
- Mastering how to provide top-notch childcare. β¨
- Understanding the importance of keeping everyone safe and your role in it. π‘οΈ
- Always ensuring you're supervised when with the children. π€
- Gaining a solid grasp of child development and why it matters. π§
- Contributing to and completing children's observations and records as needed. βοΈ
