What you'll be doing:

  • Becoming the ultimate expert on all things Practice-related. ๐Ÿง 
  • Ensuring our reception is running smoothly and efficiently, making patients and visitors feel right at home. ๐Ÿ‘‹
  • Being the go-to person for general inquiries, explaining how things work, and booking appointments. ๐Ÿ—“๏ธ
  • Using your super-sleuth skills and communication powers to manage urgent cases with no appointment, keeping things calm and organized. ๐Ÿง˜
  • Welcoming new patients, explaining the ropes, and getting them set up. โœจ
  • Answering and making phone calls, diverting them like a pro, and taking messages with pinpoint accuracy. ๐Ÿ“ž
  • Logging home visit requests, making sure all the deets are captured. ๐Ÿ“
  • Handling repeat prescription requests, getting them ready for patients ASAP (within 48 hours!). ๐Ÿ“ฆ
  • Letting patients know about charges for private services, taking payments, and issuing receipts. ๐Ÿ’ฐ
  • Keeping patient info up-to-date on our systems (think address changes, names, phone numbers โ€“ the works!). ๐Ÿ’ป
  • Helping to keep our waiting room looking fresh and tidy. ๐Ÿงน
  • Registering new patients and temporary residents on our system โ€“ quick and accurate is key! โœ…
  • Reaching out to patients for routine screenings. ๐Ÿ“ž
  • Organizing transport for patients when needed. ๐Ÿš—
  • Scanning important hospital letters and patient correspondence. ๐Ÿ“„
  • Letting our Office Manager know when supplies are running low. โœ๏ธ
  • Filing electronic clinical letters into patient records. ๐Ÿ“‚
  • Tackling tasks and getting them done efficiently. ๐Ÿ’จ
  • Restocking the reception area to keep it looking sharp. ๐Ÿ’ฏ
  • Completing all your mandatory training โ€“ let's keep those skills sharp! ๐ŸŽ“
  • Becoming a whiz with our phone system, both during and after hours. ๐Ÿ“ฑ
  • Taking on other exciting duties as requested by the Partners or Practice Manager โ€“ we love a team player! ๐Ÿ™Œ

Key responsibilities
