What you'll be doing:
- Handling, ordering, and distributing medicines and pharmaceutical products with accuracy and care. ๐ฆ
- Providing helpful advice to patients on prescriptions and over-the-counter meds, and knowing when to get a pharmacist involved. ๐ฃ๏ธ
- Keeping the pharmacy running smoothly day-to-day, from stock control to business processes. ๐
- As you grow, you'll get to guide and support other pharmacy support staff. ๐
- Helping to train and mentor new team members. ๐
- Ensuring top-notch standards through checks, service evaluations, and acting on feedback. โ
Your Qualification Journey:
- You'll be working towards a Level 3 Pharmacy Technician Apprenticeship โ the equivalent of A-levels! ๐
- Upon successful completion, you'll be eligible to register with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). โจ
- Your training will be a mix of hands-on experience and structured learning. ๐ป

Key responsibilities
- Managing, ordering, receiving and supplying medicines and pharmaceutical products safely and accurately
- Providing personโcentred advice to patients on prescription and overโtheโcounter medicines, referring to healthcare professionals where appropriate
- Supporting the dayโtoโday running of the pharmacy, including business processes, stock control and clinical governance
- Supervising and supporting pharmacy support staff as you progress in the role
- Assisting with training and mentoring new members of staff
