Apprentice Care Assistant (adult Care Worker Level 2)

About the role

We're looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our awesome care team! 🤩 You'll be visiting clients in their own homes across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, making a real difference. 💪

What you'll be doing:

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks (washing, dressing, continence support, getting up/going to bed) ✨
• Helping with medication - prompting and administering, then logging it on our super easy care app 📱
• Whipping up tasty meals and drinks, and keeping homes tidy 🍳🏠
• Supporting clients to stay active and mobile, safely using equipment like hoists if needed 🚶‍♀️
• Keeping clear, digital notes on our care planning system and flagging any changes or concerns 📝
• Being a friendly face! Chatting with clients and their families, and helping them stay connected to their community 👋
• Following care plans, safety checks, and safeguarding everyone involved 🛡️
• Joining in team meetings, supervisions, and training sessions at our Filwood office 🤝🎓

About you:

This role is perfect for those new to care, and we offer a Level 2 (Adult Care Worker) qualification! 💯

Key responsibilities

• Assisting clients with personal care tasks, including washing, dressing, and mobility.
• Prompting and administering medication, ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Preparing meals and drinks and undertaking light household duties.
• Documenting client visits and reporting any concerns or changes.
• Adhering to care plans, risk assessments, and safeguarding procedures.
