Are you neurodivergent, or do you have firsthand experience navigating neurodevelopmental services for yourself or a family member? We're on the hunt for compassionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Peer Support Workers to join our expanding Children's and Adults Neurodevelopmental Services team! 🀝

This is a fantastic chance to leverage your unique journey to support neurodivergent children, adults, and their families as they engage with our neurodevelopmental pathways. As a Peer Support Worker, you'll team up with clinicians, families, and partner agencies to offer practical, strengths-focused, and neuroaffirming support. Your role will be crucial in helping neurodivergent young people and adults build confidence, deepen self-understanding, and develop self-advocacy skills, all while guiding them through significant life and educational transitions. πŸš€

No Level 3 qualification? No worries! RDaSH is offering this position alongside the opportunity to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification relevant to your role. As an RDaSH apprentice, you'll gain invaluable experience, learn essential work skills, and acquire all the tools needed to excel. Your apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or dedicated training organisation, with approximately 20% of your working hours dedicated to learning and studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. πŸŽ“

Entry requirements

Essential qualifications (Essential A good standard of general education, including functional literacy and numeracy, or equivalent demonstrable skills English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9-4 or A*- C or functional skills level 2) Willingness and ability to complete Trust mandatory training and rolespecific peersupport, safeguarding, boundaries, record keeping and informationgovernance training. Desirable Relevant qualification in peer support, health, social care, youth work, education, community development or coaching. Completed recognised peersupport training.)
