Are you neurodivergent or have you navigated neurodevelopmental services for yourself or a family member? 🤔 We're on the hunt for passionate, motivated, and enthusiastic Peer Support Workers to join our awesome Children's Neurodevelopmental Service! 🚀 This is your chance to shine, using your unique lived experience to empower kids, teens, and their families on their neurodevelopmental journeys. 🌟

As a Peer Support Worker, you'll team up with clinicians, families, and other awesome partners. You'll offer practical, strengths-based, and neuroaffirming support. Your mission? To help young people boost their confidence, self-understanding, and self-advocacy skills, guiding them through important life and educational milestones. 🎓

No Level 3 qualification yet? No worries! 💯 RDaSH is offering this role with the chance to complete a Level 3 apprenticeship qualification that's totally relevant to what you'll be doing. As an apprentice, you'll gain real-world experience, learn essential skills, and get all the tools you need to absolutely crush it. 🛠️ Your apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or other institution, with around 20% of your work time dedicated to learning and studying, leading to a nationally recognised qualification. 📚

Entry requirements

Essential qualifications (Essential A good standard of general education, including functional literacy and numeracy, or equivalent demonstrable skills. English and Maths at level 2 or equivalent (GCSE 9-4 or A*- C or functional skills level 2) NVQ Level 2 in a related subject NVQ level 3 in related subject or willingness to undertake a relevant Level 3 Apprenticeship Willingness and ability to complete Trust mandatory training and role-specific peer support, safeguarding, boundaries, recordkeeping and information governance training. Desirable Relevant qualification in peer support, health, social care, youth work, education, community development or coaching. Completed recognised peer-support training.)
