Digital Content Creator Apprentice 📱✨

We're looking for an enthusiastic Digital Content Creator Apprentice to join our team and help us share our inspiring stories.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Team up with the Head of IT & MIS and Digital Content Manager to create awesome and accurate content for our websites and social media.
  • Craft and share engaging social media content that connects with our audiences and helps us smash our marketing goals. 🚀
  • Work across the Trust (including our sister charities and organisations) to highlight incredible stories, news, and opportunities. 🤝
  • Dive into analytics and audience insights to figure out what's working and make our future content even better. 📊
  • Develop cool email campaigns and see how well they perform. 📧
  • Make sure all our digital content totally rocks and reflects the Trust's vision, values, and purpose.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Keeping our Ruskin Mill Trust website content fresh, accurate, engaging, and aligned with our vision. ✅
  • Finding and posting regular social media content across different platforms.
  • Chatting with people in our schools, colleges, adult care centres, and central services to gather amazing content.
  • Using the awesome content and feedback you receive to boost our social media marketing, especially focusing on student achievements and Trust developments.
  • Jumping into our online community, interacting with people, and keeping things positive and safe. 💬
  • Using design tools (like Adobe) to make sure our visuals are on-brand and look super professional. 🎨
  • Providing regular reports on our online activity.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have!):

  • Know-how or understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO).
  • Previous experience running ads on platforms like Facebook.
  • Solid understanding of Adobe products, especially Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Ability to create and edit basic videos. 🎬
  • Familiarity with editing pages on WordPress.
  • A good grasp of social media channels like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Strong creative communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Great people skills and the ability to build awesome working relationships.
  • Being energetic, organised, and a fantastic communicator!

Entry Requirements:

  • 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4+ (A-C) in any subject.
  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above).
  • You must not have an existing qualification at the same or a higher level than this apprenticeship in a similar subject.
