About the Role: Systems Engineering Apprentice

This is your chance to become a confident and capable engineer! As a Systems Engineering Apprentice, you'll build the technical know-how, practical skills, and professional attitude needed to excel. You'll be a key player in our Systems Engineering team, supporting the delivery of innovative systems and equipment solutions, ensuring projects are bang on time and within budget. 🎯

Your Mission May Include:

Your Degree Journey: BEng Applied Professional Engineering

You'll study towards your BEng Applied Professional Engineering Degree Apprenticeship with The University of Warwick, specialising in the Product Design and Development Engineer pathway. This is a blended learning adventure, mixing:

  • On-Campus Sessions: Approximately 12 blocks of 3-day learning. 🏫
  • Virtual Coaching: Engaging online sessions. 💻
  • Online Resources: Access a wealth of learning materials. 📚

Programme Structure:

This comprehensive programme builds a strong, multi-disciplinary engineering foundation before you specialise.

  • Years 1 & 2: Dive into Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Materials & Design, and boost your computational skills.
  • Years 3 & 4: Progress to the Design and Development Engineer specialist pathway and tackle a key work-based project.

Over four years, you'll seamlessly blend university study with practical workplace experience, becoming a well-rounded engineer ready to pursue Chartered Engineer status. 🏅
