About the Role:

As an Industrial Process Engineer Apprentice, you'll become a pro at the technical skills, practical know-how, and professional behaviours needed to rock as an Industrial Process Engineer. You'll be a key player in our Industry team, helping deliver awesome products and equipment solutions, keeping projects on track and budget. 🎯

What you'll do:

Define, develop, and perfect manufacturing documentation, tools, and workflows. ✍️

Be part of manufacturing readiness reviews. ✅

Help drive innovation to cut costs and improve how we work. 💡

Make sure our manufacturing processes are solid, reliable, and repeatable. 💯

Learn to assess Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) of products. 📈

Contribute to Health, Safety, and Environment processes. 🌿

Attend Material Review Boards and manage changes and failures. 🤝

Implement test & control plans for manufacturing equipment. 🛠️

Apply Design for Execution (DfX) and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) tools like Process Flow and PfMEA. 📊

What you'll learn:

The essential behaviours and codes of practice for a professional engineer. 🧑‍🔬

How to tackle complex systems and ongoing projects. 🧩

How to assess and minimise risk by reviewing product maturity. 🧐

How to define, set up, prepare, and optimise manufacturing processes and tooling. ⚙️

The Programme:

You'll study for an HNC in Engineering with a local training provider, with the potential to level up to a full degree later. It's a 4-year journey, mixing on-campus learning with remote study. 💻📚

What you need:

3 Highers at Grade C or above (including Maths and Physics/Engineering Science) ⚛️

5 National 5s Grade A-C (including English and Maths) 📝
