The Role: Finance Apprentice
You'll be the backbone of our finance operations, supporting a bunch of different tasks and getting a real feel for how a professional finance department works. Think of yourself as a key player in keeping things running smoothly! βοΈ
What you'll be doing:
- Helping finance teams with daily tasks and cool projects.
- Sorting out any timesheet or labour booking puzzles. π€
- Pitching in with monthly financial reports.
- Assisting with cost, overhead, and headcount updates.
- Supporting budget planning and forecasting.
- Helping with cost centre reviews and management reports.
- Keeping financial records spick and span. π§Ή
- Supporting project finance stuff, like cost transfers.
- Assisting with financial entries, accruals, and corrections.
- Jumping on ad hoc finance projects.
- Creating reports and analysing data. π
- Tackling other finance tasks as they come up.
What you'll learn:

Your Apprenticeship Journey:
- Year 1: Dive into a Level 2 Accounts Assistant Apprenticeship.
- Next: Progress to a Level 3 Assistant Accountant (15 months).
- Training: You'll complete your training with our brilliant partner, The Apprentice Academy, through a virtual programme. π
- Outcome: You'll gain confidence, competence, and achieve AAT Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications. π
*(You'll need to smash Level 2 before moving onto Level 3. Both are key!)*
What you need to apply:
- GCSEs: Five GCSEs at grades 9-4 (A-C), including English and Maths. π―
