About the Role

Dive into the exciting world of Underwater Systems Sonar as an Engineering (IVVQ) Apprentice at Thales, a true industry leader. You'll be the go-to for making sure our cutting-edge sonar systems are perfectly integrated and tested through every project phase. Your mission? To ensure our hardware and software are flawless before they reach our customers. 🌊

You'll be involved in:

  • 🚀 Supporting the integration, validation, verification, and qualification (IVVQ) of systems.
  • 🔬 Conducting tests all the way through the project lifecycle.
  • 🤝 Taking direction from our awesome Lead Engineers and IVVQ Managers.
  • ✅ Helping get systems prepped for customer approval and final delivery.
  • 💡 Using a variety of cool specialist tools, gear, and diagnostic tech.
  • 🧐 Double-checking that every component, assembly, and system hits the technical mark.
  • 🌟 Becoming a vital part of a super-skilled engineering squad.

What you'll master:

As an Engineering (IVVQ) Apprentice, you'll:

  • 🏆 Work towards a Level 3 Mechatronics Maintenance Technician Apprenticeship.
