Your Responsibilities:
- Help coordinate bids, tenders, and proposals. 📑
- Keep bid plans and trackers up-to-date, gathering info from teams. 📊
- Assist with drafting, editing, and formatting submissions to be sharp and on time. 📝
- Manage bid libraries and supporting documents. 📂
- Research customers, markets, and competitors. 🔎
- Help prepare materials for bid reviews and customer meetings. 🧑🏫
- Join bid reviews and learn from every win (and near miss!). 🌱
- Understand commercial aspects and how we win business. 🌐
- Complete your apprenticeship learning activities. 🎓
The Apprenticeship Programme:
This is a 2-year Level 4 Project Manager Associate Apprenticeship with our partner, The Apprentice Academy. You'll get tailored on-the-job training alongside your studies, delivered virtually through live workshops, 1-2-1 coaching, and self-directed learning. Upon successful completion, you'll move into a Project Planner or Project Controller role within Thales UK.
What You Need to Apply:

- 2 A Levels (Grade C or above) or equivalent Level 3 qualification (e.g., BTEC Diploma MM, T Level Merit, Level 3 Apprenticeship).
- 5 GCSEs (Grade 4-9 / A-C), including English and Maths.

Key responsibilities
- Support the coordination of bids, tenders, proposals and other customer submissions
- Maintain bid plans, action trackers and submission schedules coordinating information and contributions from colleagues across different teams
- Assist with drafting, editing and formatting written responses to help ensure submissions are accurate, consistent, professional and completed on time
- Maintain bid libraries, case studies, standard responses, policies and supporting documentation
- Carry out research into customers, markets and competitors to support bid development
