- Nurturing Care: Ensuring every child feels safe, happy, and has their needs met. 🥰
- Inspiring Learning: Creating engaging play and learning experiences that boost speech, language, and communication skills. 🗣️
- Driving Excellence: Leading daily routines and championing best practices in observation, assessment, and planning. 💡
- Championing Inclusion: Promoting diversity and ensuring every child feels valued and supported. 🌈
- Upholding Safety: Adhering to all safeguarding policies and legislation to keep our children protected. 🛡️
- Continuous Improvement: Using professional curiosity and research to enhance our pedagogical approach. 📈
- Mentoring Others: Supporting and guiding fellow practitioners to develop their skills. 🌟
Compensation:
- Annual Wage: £16,640 💰
- Hourly Rate: £9/hour for Level 2 or 3 apprentices (above the minimum apprentice wage of £8/hour). Please note this rate applies to all ages.
- National Minimum Wage will apply after 12 months on the apprenticeship.

Key responsibilities
- Providing care: Ensuring children are safe and well, and responding to their needs
- Supporting learning: Facilitating play and learning opportunities, and developing children's speech, language, and communication
- Leading practice: Participating in and leading daily routines, and promoting best practices for observation, assessment, and planning
- Promoting diversity and equality: Ensuring all children are included and supported
- Complying with safeguarding: Ensuring the setting complies with all safeguarding legislation, policies, and strategies
