Cam Systems Engineer Apprentice

About the role

We're looking for a driven individual to join our team and learn the ins and outs of manufacturing bare printed circuit boards! 🏭

What you'll be doing:

• Dive deep into our manufacturing processes and become a pro in bare printed circuit board production. 💡
• Master our engineering software, UCAM and Nexus, and provide essential engineering support. 💻
• Get hands-on with our ERP system, helping to maintain and develop it, and explore how Python and AI tools can boost efficiency and automation. 🐍🤖
• Learn Java scripting and develop your own scripts to supercharge automation within our CAM engineering department. 🚀
• Understand and actively contribute to health and safety responsibilities, both for yourself and for the role, always following our Company H&S Policy. ✅

Key responsibilities

• Learn the manufacturing process for bare printed circuit boards
• Learn engineering software (UCAM and Nexus) and provide engineering support as required
• Maintain and develop the ERP system and help improve efficiency and automation using Python and AI tools
• Learn Java scripting and maintain and develop scripts to increase automation within the CAM engineering department
• Understand health and safety responsibilities and work within company H&S Policy Document rules

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (3 more other than English and Maths (grade A*-C/ 9-4), English (grade A*-C/ 9-4), Maths (grade A*-C/ 9-4))
