What You'll Be Doing:

  • Supporting Students' Learning: Work under the guidance of the class teacher to help students complete learning activities, both individually and in groups. You'll be instrumental in implementing structured lessons and ensuring everyone can access the curriculum. 🚀
  • Fostering Well-being: Play a vital role in monitoring students' personal, social, and emotional development. Building positive relationships is at the heart of this role, helping students thrive and achieve their best. ❤️
  • Tailored Support: Assist in setting and tracking individual student targets, ensuring personalized progress and development. You'll also help integrate students into planned inclusion programs, promoting a sense of belonging.
  • Skill Development: Contribute to the development of a range of skills that directly support pupils' learning journeys. 🧠
  • Health & Care: Provide specific medical or care support for pupils, following appropriate training.

Supporting Our Teachers:

  • Tracking Progress: Help monitor and record student progress and developmental needs, providing valuable insights to the teaching staff. 📊
  • Resource Creation: Assist in preparing and developing engaging learning resources to enhance classroom activities. 💡
  • Admin & Organization: Handle routine classroom administrative tasks, including maintaining important records. 📝
  • Classroom Management: Support with pupil supervision and assist in managing classroom behavior to maintain a productive learning space.
  • Planning & Communication: Provide crucial information to the class teacher to aid in the planning of work programs. You'll also liaise with the designated school contact regarding pupil absences. 📞
  • Extracurricular Support: Assist with arrangements for out-of-school learning activities, including the administration of work experience placements.
  • Clerical Duties: Offer clerical and administrative support, which may include collecting and recording money. 💰
  • Assessment Support: Administer routine tests, help invigilate exams, and undertake the routine marking of pupil work.
