Apprentice Manufacturing Technician 🛠️

Ready to dive into the world of making cool stuff? We're looking for driven individuals to join our team as Apprentice Manufacturing Technicians! This is your chance to get hands-on experience and build a solid skillset in a dynamic manufacturing environment. 🚀

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Making one-off and small batches of custom parts using all sorts of materials. Think of yourself as a creator! ✨
  • Rotating through different areas of the factory to learn the ropes, including Quality Control, Block-Up & Surfacing, CNC Milling, and Turning. You'll become a jack-of-all-trades! 🔄
  • Keeping your workspace spotless, organized, and super safe. Safety first, always! 💯

Teamwork Makes the Dream Work:

  • Collaborate with your colleagues, offering a helping hand and crushing assigned tasks together. 🤝
  • Chat with your Cell Leader to figure out what's most important and get things done efficiently. 🗣️
  • Make sure you have all the bits and bobs (materials, tools, info) before you start a job, and let your leader know ASAP if anything's missing. 📦

Quality, Safety & Following the Rules:

  • Your attention to detail is key! Focus on doing a top-notch job while staying safe. ✅
  • Be a safety champion, contributing to a secure workplace and sticking to all health and safety rules. 🛡️
  • Rock and use your Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) correctly – it's there to protect you! 💪

Key responsibilities

  • Manufacture one-off and small-batch subcontract components.
  • Undertake structured rotations throughout the factory to develop a broad skill set.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe work area at all times.
  • Work closely with colleagues and liaise with the Cell Leader to complete assigned tasks efficiently.
  • Adhere to all Health & Safety legislation, company procedures, and correctly use provided PPE.

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (English (grade 4), Maths (grade 4))
