What you'll be doing:

  • Mastering essential bricklaying techniques: laying bricks and blocks with precision, mixing mortar like a pro, and setting out your work.
  • Supporting experienced bricklayers with daily tasks and gaining invaluable on-the-job knowledge.
  • Understanding construction plans, specifications, and how buildings come together.
  • Becoming proficient in the safe and correct use of all bricklaying tools and equipment.
  • Preparing and handling materials efficiently.
  • Keeping your work area clean, tidy, and safe – safety first! 👍
  • Following all site health and safety regulations at all times. 💯
  • Collaborating effectively with bricklayers, supervisors, and other skilled tradespeople.
  • Attending college to complete your apprenticeship training and achieve your qualifications. 🎓

Key responsibilities
