What you'll be doing:

• Prep Like a Pro: Get all the ingredients ready for our talented senior chefs. 🥕🔪
• Precision Plating: Accurately measure and portion ingredients for delicious dishes. 📏🍲
• Stock Smarts: Keep our food stores organised and ensure everything is stored correctly, especially those fresh goodies. 🍎🧊
• Delivery Duty: Help out with incoming deliveries and make sure our stock is rotated like a pro. 🚚🔄
• Head Chef's Right Hand: Work closely with the Head Chef to make sure we're using up perishable items efficiently. 👨‍🍳💡
• Team Player: Follow all the cool processes and procedures within our catering team and the wider Castle Howard family. 🤝
• Safety First: Uphold top-notch Food Hygiene and Health & Safety standards, following all Castle Howard policies. 🛡️✅
• Versatile Virtuoso: Be ready to jump in and help with any other tasks that come your way. 💪
• Special Event Star: Assist with special functions, even if they fall outside of regular hours. 🎉🌙

Key responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for more senior chefs
• Measure dish ingredients and portion sizes accurately
• Ensure the proper storage of all food, including fresh products
• Assist with deliveries and stock rotation
• Carry out all aspects of Food Hygiene and Health and Safety

Entry requirements

GCSE in: (Any other subject (grade 3), English (grade 3), Maths (grade 3))
