What you'll be doing:
- Personal Care Champion: Assisting with washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and keeping personal hygiene in check. π§Ό
- Daily Living Hero: Helping with meal prep, enjoying food and drinks, and tackling light household tasks. π³
- Independence Advocate: Championing privacy, choice, and wellbeing, always respecting individual preferences.
- Mobility Mate: Supporting users with moving and handling safely, after you've had the right training. πΆββοΈ
- Companionship Creator: Being a friendly face, offering emotional support, and encouraging social connection. π
- Medication Support: Assisting with medication as per care plans and training. π
- Record Keeper: Following care plans meticulously and keeping accurate, confidential records. βοΈ
- Safety Sentinel: Spotting and reporting any safeguarding concerns or changes in health. π¨
- Infection Control Pro: Following all procedures for health, safety, and keeping everyone safe. π‘οΈ
- Team Player: Communicating like a pro with service users, families, colleagues, and healthcare pros. π£οΈ
- Learning Machine: Attending training, supervision, and all apprenticeship activities to become a qualified pro! π

Key responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes and within the community
- Assist service users with personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and maintaining personal hygiene
- Support individuals with daily living activities, including meal preparation, eating, drinking, and light household tasks
- Follow individual care plans and maintain accurate, timely, and confidential care records
- Communicate effectively with service users, families, colleagues, and other healthcare professionals
