Get ready for an epic 3-year journey as a Planning Supply Chain & Logistics Business Degree Apprentice! ✈️ You'll dive headfirst into all sorts of business functions and teams, gaining invaluable industry experience while earning your degree. This apprenticeship is your ticket to understanding the ins and outs of aircraft production and management. You'll soak up academic knowledge and get hands-on training at our Broughton site (North Wales), near Chester, all while earning a full-time salary with ZERO tuition fees! 🤩

Your Degree:

This 3-year apprenticeship is your fast-track to a full degree in Applied Business Management BSc (Hons), delivered by Swansea University with our awesome partners at Coleg Cambria Northop (North Wales). You'll get day-release study to level up your placement experience. 📚 Plus, you'll be working towards an ILM Level 4 Diploma in Principles of Leadership and Management and an ILM Level 4 Diploma in Management. Oh, and did we mention you could snag a PRINCE2 project management qualification? 🏅 We're all about learning by doing, and there are tons of events to help you grow, develop, and have a blast! 🥳

What You'll Be Doing:

As a Planning Supply Chain & Logistics apprentice, you'll be a key player in the entire supply chain process. Get ready to:

  • Schedule Beluga operations 🗓️
  • Champion sustainability in the supply chain 🌍
  • Plan build sequences for on-time delivery ⏰
  • Manage and support projects to drive change and improvement 🚀
  • Connect with a global supply base to get crucial aircraft components 🤝
  • Ensure production runs smoothly by confirming parts are ready when and where they're needed 📦
  • Oversee on-site service providers to maintain top-notch service levels 🌟
  • Implement digital solutions across the business! 💻

Bonus: You can even choose placements outside your main area of study, like HR, recruitment, finance, engineering, and more! 🎨

Requirements to Join the Crew:

To be eligible, you'll need a minimum of:

  • 3 A Levels at grade B or above, with one in Business Studies or Economics, and two more from subjects like English Language, Maths, or Welsh Baccalaureate.

OR

  • A Business BTEC Extended Diploma (18 Units) at DDM.

OR

  • Equivalent qualifications (like an HND in Marketing or a business-related BTEC, e.g., Entrepreneurship) – subject to validation.

AND

  • Minimum GCSE Grade 4/C in Maths or Numeracy and English Language (or equivalent).
