The Customer Services team is the backbone of the entire Airbus fleet, providing essential in-service solutions, maintenance guidance, and ensuring every aircraft is safe and airworthy. As a Customer Services Engineering Apprentice, you'll be the go-to person for our customers, offering support and solving technical queries to guarantee their satisfaction with every single interaction.

Your adventure kicks off with a nine-month vocational foundation diploma. After that, you'll team up with our seasoned experts at Filton, getting your hands dirty with real engineering work on our Commercial Aircraft Programmes. You'll be placed in a department with massive career potential, including:

  • Scheduled Maintenance: Collaborate with Design Office, customers, and aviation authorities to shape the Airbus Maintenance Program. πŸ› οΈ
  • Service Bulletins Retrofit solutions: Help implement recommended, mandated, and customer-requested in-service modifications. βœ…
  • Ground Support Equipment & Tooling: Design, test, and validate the essential tools and equipment that keep our aircraft flying. πŸ”§
  • Technical Data: Create approved maintenance procedures and parts catalogues for seamless aircraft operations. πŸ“–
  • Spares Engineering: Provide crucial support for repairs by tackling technical issues alongside procurement, production, logistics, and quality teams. πŸ“¦
  • Supplier Management: Work closely with our suppliers to get the documentation needed to support Airbus and our customers. 🀝

What You'll Need to Shine: ✨

To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you'll need to meet these requirements:

  • Academic Excellence:
  • A minimum of 112 UCAS points.
  • OR 3 A Levels with grades of BBC or higher, including Maths at grade B or higher AND Physics or Chemistry at grade C or higher. A further Level/AS-Level/BTEC Diploma is also required.
  • OR BTEC Extended Diploma in a relevant engineering field (Aeronautical Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing in Engineering, Construction and the Built Environment, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Engineering, Land-based Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Operations and Maintenance Engineering) with a minimum grade of DMM or D (for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering).
  • OR T Levels with a minimum overall grade of Merit in Engineering and Manufacturing. An additional Level 3 Maths qualification is a plus but not essential.
  • Core Skills: GCSE Maths and English (Language and Literature) with a minimum grade of 5/B.
