What You'll Experience:

  • Hands-on Learning: Spend 40 months gaining practical skills in maintenance, sustainability, and health & safety at our world-leading Broughton manufacturing site. 🛠️
  • Academic Excellence: Year 1 at Coleg Cambria, followed by Years 2 & 3 with Gower College, perfectly balancing theory with real-world application. 📚
  • Diverse Disciplines: Get involved in Facilities Services (planned & reactive maintenance), Sustainability initiatives, Minor Works Projects, and crucial Health & Safety practices. 🌿✅
  • Real-World Impact: Support daily operations, collaborate with service providers, optimize infrastructure, and develop innovative solutions. You'll even contribute to energy efficiency and cost reduction programs! 💡

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Facilities Services: Tackle daily engineering challenges, ensure maintenance robustness, liaise with external partners, and help design new, efficient solutions. ⚙️
  • Sustainability: Work with expert teams to identify and implement investment programs for improved energy efficiency and reduced total cost of ownership, incorporating sustainable engineering principles. 🌍
  • Minor Works Projects: Develop infrastructure specifications to enhance and standardize assets. Evaluate technical proposals to ensure they meet our asset strategy and deliver performance efficiencies. 📊
  • Health & Safety: Master your health and safety responsibilities, understand legislative requirements, and conduct site audits to ensure compliance. 🚨
