About Us:

Get ready for the Airbus Facility Management Technical Apprenticeship – a 3-year epic journey packed with real-world industry experience. 🌍 You'll snag a Level 3 apprenticeship in Facilities Management, all while earning a full-time salary and paying ZERO fees! 💯

This isn't just about a qualification; it's a 40-month adventure. We'll give you vocational training and place you in diverse teams and projects focusing on maintenance, sustainability, and health & safety. You'll build high-level engineering skills that are recognised globally. ✈️

We're all about learning by doing here, and we throw some pretty cool events your way to help you grow, develop, and have a blast while doing it! 🥳

Your journey kicks off with 8 months of full-time academic & vocational study off-site. Then, it's full steam ahead into placements at our Wing Manufacturing Centre of Excellence. You'll be working with different teams, learning the ropes in:

✅ Facilities Services (Planned & Reactive Maintenance)

✅ Sustainability

✅ Minor Works Projects

✅ Health & Safety

What You'll Be Doing:

Facilities Services:

Be an engineer, tackling daily site issues and making sure our planned maintenance is rock-solid. 🛠️

Team up with our external service partners to guarantee top-notch delivery.

Dive into infrastructure layouts to brainstorm fresh solutions, boost asset performance, and standardise equipment.

Critically assess the technical quality of work from external suppliers.

Develop projects and designs that minimise issues and maximise reliability.

Sustainability:

Collaborate with Energy & Asset Management teams to spot opportunities for investment programmes that drive down total cost of ownership, with a focus on sustainable engineering. 🌱

Minor Works Projects:

Engineer infrastructure specs that upgrade, optimise, and standardise our assets.

Evaluate technical proposals to ensure supplier submissions align with our asset strategy, tackling technical challenges to deliver efficiency and performance.

Understand the infrastructure's technical impact on proposals regarding energy consumption and ongoing maintenance.

Health & Safety:

Master your health & safety responsibilities and best practices. 🚨

Get a grip on all legislative requirements relevant to your area (electrical or mechanical).

Conduct audits of infrastructure systems to ensure site compliance.

What You'll Need:

A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C/4 or above, MUST include Maths, English Language, and Science. 📚

Important Info:

GRADES: If you're on predicted grades, your offer is conditional on achieving the required grades before the apprenticeship starts.

SECURITY CLEARANCE: You'll undergo a BPSS check, and potentially UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control, depending on the role. 🕵️‍♀️

RIGHT TO WORK IN THE UK: You must have current legal authorisation to work in the UK for the entire programme duration. Check the Government Website for details. 🇬🇧

LEVY FUNDING: You must be eligible for levy funding. Our apprenticeship roles cannot sponsor migrant workers. 🚫
