What You'll Be Doing:

Dive into the heart of our operations at our Broughton site (North Wales) near Chester. You'll get hands-on experience across various business functions, including:

  • Operational Support 🛠️
  • Environmental, Health & Safety 🌱
  • Security 🔒
  • Facilities Management 🏢
  • Procurement 🛒
  • Contract Management ✍️
  • Industrial Maintenance 🔧
  • Airbus Operating System (Lean Production) 📈
  • Tooling, Maintenance and Calibration 🧰

You'll be involved in strategic development, project management, and understanding the daily operations and management of aircraft production. Plus, you'll have the chance to explore placements in HR, finance, supply chain, and more! 🌐

Eligibility & Requirements:

  • Academic:
  • Option 1: 3 A Levels at grade B or above, with one in Business Studies or Economics, and two others from English Language, Maths, or Welsh Baccalaureate. 💯
  • Option 2: Business BTEC Extended Diploma (18 Units) at DDM. ✅
  • Equivalent qualifications are considered, subject to validation. 🌟
  • GCSEs: Minimum grade 4/C in Maths (or Numeracy) and English Language (or equivalent). 🔑
  • Right to Work: You must have current legal authorisation to work in the UK for the entire duration of the programme. 🇬🇧

Key responsibilities

  • Supporting the planning and implementation of adaptations to the shop floor working environment.
  • Working in multifunctional teams to implement identified improvements and changes.
