What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the MVPs (that's us, PMO & Project Managers!) in building and maintaining awesome business management tools, cool methodologies, templates, docs, and reports to make sure projects are a total success.
- Team up with the Head of PMO on boosting project delivery and all things PM digitalisation. We'll need your help maintaining and tweaking Project Management processes and building/keeping up software tools for our Business and Information Management Systems.
- Connect with the PMO, Risk, and Integrated Planning Managers to spread the word on best-practice Project and Risk Management across the biz.
- Dive into project plans, issue & change logs, risk & opportunity registers, gather project management data, track milestones, and help create monthly reports for our customers and stakeholders. Your work will be key to delivering projects like a pro! π―
What You'll Need:
- Academic Vibes: Minimum of 2 A-levels at Grade C or above. π
- Core Skills: Minimum GCSE Grade C/4 or above in Mathematics and English Language. π―
- Project Management Savvy: Show us you get Project Management methodologies.
- Communication Champ: Killer written and verbal communication skills. π£οΈβοΈ
- Organisation Guru: Stellar organisational skills. ποΈ
- Tech Whiz: Proficient with Microsoft Office (especially Excel π) and Google software. π»
- Database Dynamo: Experience with databases is a plus, but not a dealbreaker! π

Important Info to Keep in Mind:
- Future Focus: This role is linked to a future Joint-Venture with a major European space player. π
- Grades: If you're on predicted grades, your offer will be conditional on achieving the required grades before your apprenticeship kicks off.
- Security Check: You'll undergo a BPSS (Baseline Personnel Security Standard) check. Depending on the role, UK SC-level Security Clearance or Export Control might be needed too. π΅οΈββοΈ
- Work Rights: You MUST have current legal authorisation to work in the UK for the ENTIRE duration of the programme. Check the Government Website for deets. π¬π§
- Levy Funding: You need to be eligible for levy funding.

We're the Project Management Office (PMO) β a super important part of Project Management! We keep Programmes/Projects on track using awesome processes, methods, and tools. We crunch numbers (quantitative and qualitative data) to help make informed decisions at the Project Management level. We're all about smooth communication and happy stakeholders, playing a vital operational role throughout a project's entire journey. πΊοΈ
Our department covers everything from Programme Management best practices and Project Control/Support to Cost Control, Integrated Planning, Risk & Opportunity Management, Resource Management, and Configuration & Data Management.
